After taking on water and calling the Coast Guard--who were on the scene shortly thereafter--Annapolis sailors, Wally Miller, James Praley (co-owners), and their crew, watched as the Beneteau 40.7 Makin' Waves sunk off Shinnecock Inlet off Long Island, NY on Saturday. The crew was en route to Newport for the start of the Newport to Bermuda Race. No injuries were reported.
